**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our team at St Giles Group. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of insurance products, including property owners, engineering, contract all risks, terrorism, and management liability.
- Develop and sustain effective working relationships with account executives and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurers to secure the best possible deals for our clients.
- Produce correspondence to required timeframes and quality standards, including issuing and processing new business documents, mid-term adjustments, cancellations, and renewals.
- Provide new business quotations and re-broking existing renewals, as well as face-to-face client meetings.
- Keep accurate records and file in the agreed manner, answering general queries competently by phone, email, or in person.
- Attend training courses and complete mandatory training modules to remain compliant.
- Assist managers and other team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Account Handling role (insurance) is required.
- Client service and administrative experience, adhering to processes and systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with a passion for building fantastic working relationships.
- An appetite to learn and develop successfully, with a basic understanding of the broking insurance market and the role of regulation and compliance.
- Organized with good time management skills, working to agreed priorities.
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with internal colleagues.
- Computer literate with good experience of using MS Office Suite.
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, Grades A-C (9-5) including English and Maths.
