Main Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and provide a warm welcome to the department
  • Book appointments and enter patient details onto IT systems with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Direct patients to the correct areas within the department, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Perform height and weight measurements for patients as required
  • Check the PACS system to ensure patient images are stored correctly
  • Answer phones and direct calls to other staff members as needed
  • Assist Sonographers in their duties and chaperone intimate examinations
  • Ensure adequate stock levels within the department

Person Specification
  • General Education to GCSE level
  • Previous work with the public, preferably in a healthcare setting
