About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Education Manager to lead and manage our Prison Education Framework (PEF) in Luton, Bedfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the curriculum in line with the needs of the prison population, local labour market and employer.

Key Responsibilities include ensuring all contracts are run in accordance with external and internal procedures, recruiting, managing, developing and maintaining discipline of staff employed in the department, and promoting equality of opportunity for staff and learners in all activities.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant first degree or professional qualification, experience of successful curriculum development and change, persuasive and supportive leadership and staff management skills, excellent communication skills, and a clear understanding of the OFSTED framework (EIF).

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Luton, Bedfordshire. The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
