Job Description:

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Systems Expert to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing firmware designs using VHDL.

About the Role:

This 6-month contract offers a great opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for designing and verifying firmware using VHDL or System Verilog, working to a structured firmware design process.

  • Firmware Design and Verification: Designing and verifying firmware using VHDL or System Verilog, working to a structured firmware design process.
  • Innovative FPGA Designs: Creating innovative VHDL-based FPGA designs.
  • System-Level Analysis: Analyzing system-level documents to derive detailed firmware requirements.
  • Advanced Verification Techniques: Applying advanced verification techniques using VHDL or SystemVerilog/UVM.
  • Firmware Design Lifecycle Management: Managing the full firmware design lifecycle, adhering to a structured process such as RTCA DO-254.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Electronics and Electrical Engineering Degree: A degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, specializing in FPGA/Digital techniques.
  • Model Driven Engineering Tools: Experience with Model Driven Engineering tools like MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Firmware Debugging and Support: Proficiency in debugging firmware designs and supporting system-related verification and integration.
  • High-Speed Interface Design: Familiarity with high-speed interface design and integration, including PCIe, DDR3, Ethernet.
  • FPGA Technologies: Knowledge of FPGA technologies from Xilinx, Altera, or Microsemi, along with their associated tools.
  • Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain SC level security clearance.

Salary and Benefits:
