Halter is revolutionizing the farming industry with its innovative technology, and we're seeking a highly skilled individual to lead our Mid Canterbury expansion. As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in equipping farms with Halter technology, transforming their productivity and sustainability.

  • We're looking for someone with a deep understanding and empathy for the agricultural community, with a proven track record of achieving high performance.
  • Strong emotional intelligence is essential, with clear examples of self-awareness and social awareness.
  • A unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen will enable you to effectively communicate with farmers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Mid Canterbury expansion, helping farmers grow more grass and graze their land more efficiently.
  • Schedule mobs to meet dairy requirements and allocate precise amounts of feed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, understanding their challenges and providing solutions that drive meaningful change.

What We Offer

  • An estimated salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, reflecting your exceptional skills and experience.
  • A comprehensive remuneration package made up of salary, benefits, and an employee stock ownership plan.
  • 6 months of fully paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 4 weeks of fully paid secondary caregiver leave.
