About the Role
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced professional to manage the Wessex Secure Data Environment facility (Wessex SDE). The successful candidate will oversee the operational delivery of the Wessex SDE and ensure safe conduct of clinical research and effective use of all resources.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership within the Wessex SDE.
- Develop proposals for long-term strategic capital and service planning for translational research.
- Challenge existing patterns of delivery of clinical research to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Actively participate in planning Wessex SDE network-wide collaborations.
- Ensure submission of SDE plans, investment proposals, and business cases.
