Job Title: Ink Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Ink Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in Telford. As an Ink Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are adhered to and maintaining a clean work area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the full-time staff member with the day-to-day running of the Stores area
  • Assist with handling of products used in the manufacture and packaging of inks and log in and store returns
  • Assist in day-to-day preparation of ink to the printing presses in a timely manner
  • Lifting ink pails up to 20kg in weight and relocating of 180kg barrels into the ink store is expected to replenish stocks
  • Housekeeping, cleanliness and maintaining a clean work area, including sweeping and mopping the floor
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks as and when required by the Management which may involve working in other areas of the factory to meet Company requirements
  • Ensuring that customer standards and expectations are met

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred, but training will be given
  • Willingness to learn and achieve a career
  • Flexibility to working overtime (as or when required)

What We Offer:

  • Temporary-Permanent position
  • 8.30 am - 16.30 pm Monday to Friday
  • Hourly rate of £8.21 per hour (rising to £8.72 per hour from April)
