Norse Group is a leading commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering expertise across cleaning, catering, and facilities management disciplines.

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaner to join our established team at Horwood & Newton Tracey Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £25,875.44 per hour, with opportunities for progression and development within a national organisation.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for our successful candidate, payment will be met by the employer.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining hygiene levels in communal areas, delivering a high standard of customer service to clients across the facility.

You will work both independently and within a close team, carrying out day-to-day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Able to work to defined standards in a quality-driven environment
  • Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients, and members of the public
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service
