As an apprentice chef at Harvester, we will help you develop your culinary skills and master our menu. You'll thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, supported by a close-knit team. The role involves:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a champion of brand standards
  • Keep your kitchen clean and organized
  • Prepare everything needed before a busy shift
  • Cook to specification and work with recipes

You don't need prior experience, as we can teach you everything. All we ask is that you're willing to learn and take pride in your work. As a Harvester apprentice, you'll gain a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship, and you'll be able to support the running of our kitchens. Our training program includes:

Apprenticeship Details:

  • A mix of face-to-face and remote catch-ups every 4-6 weeks
  • A combination of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including workshops and webinars
  • Regular reviews with your apprentice, line manager, and lifetime trainer
  • Feedback sessions to discuss your progress
  • Opportunity to obtain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs or equivalents)
  • 30 hours of paid work per week

As a Harvester apprentice, you'll work towards a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over 15 months. Our goal is to help you become a vital team member in any kitchen.
