Assistant Recruitment Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Assistant Recruitment Manager. This is a 6-month secondment opportunity that will provide you with the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in recruitment management.

As Assistant Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment team, ensuring workloads are managed, monitoring KPIs, and using these as a metric for improvement to the overall recruitment process. You will also be responsible for highlighting key changes in employment law to the team and adjusting processes where necessary.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Identification of multiple workstreams for candidate attraction with a focus on reducing vacancies across the trust.
  • Key contact for the organisation of recruitment open days, assessment centres, and interview processes.
  • Ensure the team is working in line with Employment Law, NHS Employer, Home Office, and KMPT policy guidelines.
  • Provide the recruitment team with general support and motivation, facilitating any development required to enable the team to answer queries and manage the end-to-end recruitment process effectively and consistently.
  • Development and redevelopment of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Primary point of contact for recruitment compliance queries.
