Job Overview:

Finnings (UK) Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Shift Engineer to join their team in Leicester. This role involves providing on-site diagnostic and repair capabilities for Caterpillar products, utilizing the latest dealer software and repair techniques.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical issues in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Attend site to understand customer needs and provide comprehensive detail about the nature of the problem.
  • Requisition parts and determine expected time of delivery to agree on service re-visit dates with customers.
  • Undertake repair and service work on machines to agreed work plans, removing and dispatching components for specialist attention.

Requirements:

  • Aptitude for working autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for building positive relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with strong analytical abilities.
  • Motivated and dynamic individual with heavy Earth Moving equipment operating knowledge.

Salary and Benefits:

This position comes with an attractive salary range of £38,500 - £43,800, 25 days holiday, company pension scheme, healthcare benefits, and access to a company share scheme.
