Teaching and Learning Support for Young Children

ERS Education Ltd seeks an accomplished Teaching and Learning Support specialist to join our EYFS team, providing critical support to teachers and educators in delivering high-quality learning experiences for 3-4 year olds. This full-time opportunity requires a skilled professional who can use their expertise to drive improvements in attainment and quality of learning, while maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the EYFS framework, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work collaboratively with others. They will be responsible for assisting the teaching team in delivering phonics, reading, writing, spelling, and maths sessions, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of each child.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist the teaching team in delivering phonics, reading, writing, spelling, and maths sessions
* Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of 3-4 year olds
* Use advanced knowledge of the EYFS framework to inform practice and drive improvements in attainment and quality of learning
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of the curriculum and contribute to a positive learning environment
Requirements:
* Advanced understanding of the EYFS framework and its application in practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and priorities
* Experience of working in a mainstream education setting, preferably in an early years context
