Senior Care Team Leader

About the RoleAs a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You'll be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants, ensuring seamless shift handovers, and providing training and supervision to new staff members.
You'll work closely with residents, their families, and external teams to build strong relationships and provide exceptional care. Your clinical expertise will be crucial in helping with CQC responsibilities and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, including leading a team of Care Assistants
- Responsible for all clinical duties, including issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record-keeping
- Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers
- Helping with training and supervision of new staff members
- Building relationships with residents, their families, and external teams
- Assisting residents with a range of personal care duties
