Job Title: Principal Flood Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Flood Project Manager to join our team at Carrington West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technical flood management projects and providing strategic technical flood management expertise to support the delivery of our water management projects and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead technical flood management professional for Project Sponge, providing support to and deputising for the Project Lead as required.

* Coordinate the Local Lead Flood Authority's role as a statutory consultee to the planning department, developing long-term policy and procedures for the assessment and adoption of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS).

* Provide technical flood management expertise to support the delivery of Project Sponge and other water management projects and opportunities.

Requirements:

* Experience in flood management and a strong understanding of the principles and practices of flood risk management.

* Proven track record of leading technical flood management projects and providing strategic technical flood management expertise.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
