Manufacturing Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing professional to drive our manufacturing operations forward. As the Head of Manufacturing, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, from strategic planning to day-to-day management.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive LEAN principles to ensure cost efficiency and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Lead and implement the GIS manufacturing strategy to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost, and delivery.
- Manage production schedules and budgets to ensure products meet quality, cost, and timeline targets.
- Mentor and develop a team of 8 direct reports to ensure high performance.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and manage key stakeholders.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities derived from LEAN/Six Sigma deployments.
- Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
- Technical mindset with experience leading Electronics and Mechanical Assembly teams.
- Education to degree level in a relevant engineering/manufacturing discipline or equivalent NVQ Level 7 qualification.
- Demonstrable experience of leading a manufacturing function with a proven track record in strategic manufacturing leadership delivering effective manufacturing strategies, policies, processes, and systems.
