About the Role:
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Learner Assistant to join our team at a primary SEND school in Sutton, London. As a SEN Learner Assistant, you will provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs, helping them achieve both academic and personal development goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support to students with SEN, adapting teaching methods to accommodate their unique learning needs.
Work closely with teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and develop strategies that address each student's learning goals.
Utilize patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to meet the needs of students with SEN, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEN learners is highly desirable.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate a variety of learning styles.
A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred due to the location of the school in Sutton.
What We Offer:
