Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEN Specialist Teacher to join our team and support students with a range of needs, including autism, dyslexia, and other learning challenges, within a nurturing and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN requirements.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching assistants to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of the school community.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a background in SEN support.
  • Previous experience working with SEN students in secondary settings is essential.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
