HGV Technician Job Opportunity

Our client, a leading fleet maintainer with depots across the UK, is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join their maintenance facility in Manchester.

HGV Technician Responsibilities
  • As an HGV Technician, you will work on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, undertaking all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, including vehicle inspections, general servicing, pre-planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, MOT preparation, and correction of running defects.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy, and for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

HGV Technician Requirements
  • Be a qualified or time-served HGV Technician with experience of working on commercial vehicles.
  • Have a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair principles, including auto electrical and welding.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
