About the Role

A Postdoctoral Research Assistant is sought to undertake research into the development of viro-immunotherapy for pancreatic cancer under the supervision of Professor Yaohe Wang.

About the Applicant

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a cancer-related subject and an undergraduate degree in a biological subject. Significant research laboratory experience in cancer biology, immunology, viral vector production, and animal models is essential. Experience with gene cloning, Western blotting, FACS, ELISA, CTL assay, IFN-γ ELISPOT assay, and in vivo imaging would be an advantage.

About the Institute

The research will be based in the Centre for Cancer Biomarkers & Biotherapeutics at Barts Cancer Institute, within the Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. The appointee will develop an effective therapeutic regime using a novel viro-immunotherapeutic agent and combinations of other immunotherapies.
