Job Summary

William James Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Commercial Property Solicitor to join our client's award-winning practice. As a key member of the Commercial Property team, you will be responsible for advising on secured lending matters, handling general sales and purchases of commercial property, estate development, and leases.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor with experience handling commercial property matters to develop their skills and expertise in secured lending. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a passion for business development, and excellent organisation and time-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on secured lending matters, including drafting and reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and other related documents.
  • Handle general sales and purchases of commercial property, including negotiating and drafting contracts.
  • Assist with estate development and lease matters, including advising on planning and development issues.
  • Develop relationships with clients and colleagues to identify business opportunities and grow the practice.
  • Work closely with the team to deliver high-quality legal advice and services to clients.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience handling commercial property matters.
  • Experience handling secured lending matters would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong academic background and excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for business development and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
