Commercial Property Solicitor - Secured Lending Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team at William James Recruitment. As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for advising on secured lending matters, handling general sales and purchases of commercial property, estate development, and leases.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable law firm that provides specialist quality legal advice to a diverse client base consisting of SMEs, investors, developers, and lenders. You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling a varied caseload and collaborating with a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on secured lending matters, including drafting and reviewing loan agreements, security documents, and other related documents.
  • Handle general sales and purchases of commercial property, including negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with estate development and lease matters, including advising on planning and development issues.
  • Develop relationships with clients and colleagues to identify business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that advice is always current and accurate.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience handling commercial property matters.
  • Experience handling secured lending matters would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong academic background and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage a varied caseload.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
