About this role:

We are seeking an experienced EMEA Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team at our London Office. As a key member of our International HR & Workforce Operations and Payroll team, you will oversee a talented team of four dedicated professionals and be responsible for the entire payroll process, from data processing and meticulous validations to swift issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the team to deliver accurate and timely payrolls across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with local legislation (France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, UAE, UK).
  • Support the team with decision making and act as first point of contact for issue / query escalations.
  • Work closely with our risk partners to meet our Audit, Control and Risk obligations, reporting any issues and / or risks per Wells Fargo policy.
  • Support in-flight projects such as Service Delivery Model changes.
  • Expand working relationship with APAC region to define international framework for Payroll activity, with a focus on simplifying end to end process and aligning practices of financial controls related to payroll activities.
  • Mitigate payroll regulatory risks by monitoring upcoming industry changes and supporting the team to implement new payroll approaches and practices.
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers and other HR functions.
  • Lead team to achieve business objectives and Global HR Strategy.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Payroll.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Payroll, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience in International Payroll (preferably EMEA region).
