About the Role

We are collaborating with a top planning consultancy to help them grow their team across the UK. This company operates multiple offices nationally and prides itself on a close-knit environment within their Planning department. With an outstanding history of delivering projects for both public and private sector clients, they are currently looking to expand their team with a senior hire at Senior or Principal Planner level.

You will be a chartered Town Planner seeking a new and exciting challenge, ideally with experience in managing and assisting on projects of varying scales and complexity across residential, commercial, retail, and educational sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a successful and lean team on challenging projects, closely with enthusiastic junior colleagues and experienced Partners who are hands-on and involved in every project. The team consists of friendly professionals with a strong reputation for supporting staff development into senior property professionals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding planning applications through the development process.
  • Writing representations to Local Plans and overseeing strategic land promotions.
  • Staying updated on the latest planning policy developments.

The ideal candidate should have at least four years of relevant industry experience, preferably in consultancy, client-side, or local authorities. They should also possess a strong commercial understanding across the wider sector including planning.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum
