Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Night Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for delivering finished goods from our local manufacturing points to customer depots, while ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and Logistics: Plan and execute daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to customer depots.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe and secure transportation of goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with the transport team, keeping them informed of delivery progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Training and Development: Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 License: Hold a current Class 1 UK (CE) License and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Possess good geographical knowledge to plan efficient delivery routes.
  • Physical Demands: Be fit, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
