The Role: Class 1 Night Driver
As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers. You will be responsible for operating a Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all safety regulations, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Responsibilities:- Transport finished products from manufacturing facilities to designated customer locations.
- Safely load and unload goods using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Plan and execute daily delivery routes, optimizing efficiency and adherence to schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on deliveries and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain regular contact with the transport team, providing status reports and collaborating on logistics.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Possess a valid Class 1 (CE) UK driving licence and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Hold a current DCPC Card.
- Demonstrate excellent geographical knowledge and navigation skills.
- Exhibit strong customer service orientation, professionalism, and communication abilities.
- Be reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
