Industrial Automation Technician

The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Industrial Electrical Engineer to provide planned preventative and predictive maintenance services to our factory equipment.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of electrical engineering principles and be able to perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance repairs, troubleshoot electrical failures, and recommend steps to resolve issues.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and planned maintenance repairs of equipment
- Attend emergency/unscheduled repairs during unplanned shutdowns
- Capable of repairing electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic devices
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the factory
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to electrical failure
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Formal technical qualification in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 / C&G Level 3 Electrical, HNC or equivalent)
- General knowledge of industrial plant and process equipment
