Role Summary: As a System Performance Modelling Engineer at Arm Limited, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Arm solutions. You will create system-level performance models, explore new technologies, and evaluate their behaviour to ensure optimal power and area (PPA) in premium mobile, infrastructure, and automotive markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop system-level performance models to characterise and optimise system performance.
  2. Collaborate with architects and engineers to identify and address system bottlenecks.
  3. Develop and maintain knowledge of new technologies and features, including Coherent/Non-Coherent interconnects, Last Level Caches (LLC/SLC), and Dynamic memory controllers.
  4. Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of system performance data to inform design decisions.
  5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver system-level performance modelling capabilities.


Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a strong background in computer architecture, microarchitecture, and performance analysis. Proven experience in developing and using cycle approximate/accurate performance models, as well as generating pre-silicon/pre-RTL performance projections and performance bottleneck debug and analysis.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary for this position is $145,000 per annum, including an annual bonus, RSUs, healthcare, and wellness support. Additional benefits include a supplementary pension, 25 days annual leave, and option to buy an additional 5 days per year.
