We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Thirsk School & Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will work alongside the SENDCo and Assistant SENDCo, supporting students from KS3 and KS4 in a newly established enhanced internal provision.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and be able to develop engaging and effective lesson plans.

  • Plan and prepare work to deliver lessons">
  • Assess and report on the progress and attainment of pupils">

Salary and Benefits:

">

The salary for this role is £26,409 per annum, pro rata, actual salary £22,893. This is a term-time only position, plus training days, with 37 hours per week.
