Trainee Practitioner Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Practitioner Psychologist to join our team at the Devon Maternal Mental Health Clinic. As a Trainee Practitioner Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing high-quality psychological assessments, treatments, and interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake specialised psychological assessments, treatment, and other types of clinical intervention with individual clients.
- Work independently under supervision, subject to review at regular intervals, in accordance with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and British Psychological Society (BPS) guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of the service, including designing and implementing therapeutic groups, providing training and supervision for midwifery/NICU services, and research and service evaluation projects.
We are looking for a candidate who is currently enrolled on a Doctorate for Counselling Psychology training programme, working towards qualification and professional registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of psychology theory applied to healthcare and be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
