About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at Longdon Hall School, a specialist education provider for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

As an Educational Psychologist, you will work closely with our education and care teams to provide psychological assessment and intervention for pupils, as well as guidance and support for families and carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessment and intervention for pupils within the schools
  • Offer guidance for education and care teams
  • Supervise agreed members of the clinical team
  • Communicate with families and carers, as well as specialist agencies
  • Engage in professional development training for all staff
Requirements
  • Doctoral or masters professional qualification in Educational Psychology
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Experience of working with pupils with complex SEN needs
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
