Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist to join our team at John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing inclusive approaches to meet the needs of all pupils with additional needs or SEND.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake assessments and implement interventions and programmes of support, demonstrating expertise and best practice in Educational Psychology.
  • Collaborate with key colleagues to build partnerships internally and externally, ensuring the needs of vulnerable pupils are met.
  • Act in a consultative capacity, providing training to build awareness and capacity in schools to respond to the needs of our most vulnerable pupils.
  • Work closely with primary and secondary schools in the Trust, developing and implementing strategies to support pupils with additional needs.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Educational Psychologist with a Post Graduate qualification in Educational Psychology. The ideal candidate will have recently qualified or have experience of working with children and families.
