Personal Assistant for Young Lady with Learning Disabilities

Job Summary
This position is for a personal assistant to support a young lady with learning disabilities and complex needs. The successful candidate will work on a one-to-one basis, providing personal care, domestic support, and social activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks
- Assist with domestic duties, such as meal preparation and household chores
- Support the individual with social and leisure activities, such as outings and hobbies
- Assist with transportation, using the provided automatic car
- Administer medication safely and in accordance with guidelines
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check
- Full UK driving license
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs
- Training in areas such as challenging behaviour, food hygiene, and autism/Aspergers
Working Hours
The position is for 21 hours per week, with a four-week rolling rota. Shifts will be 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, and will include one or two weekend shifts per week.
Pay and Benefits
The hourly rate is £15.00, with annual leave accrued on hours worked. Shadow shifts will be provided for training and development.
