Job Title: Care Assistant for Young Person

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in supporting a young lady with learning disabilities and autism.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to work on a one-to-one basis with a young person, providing personal care and support in a residential setting. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and engaging in social and leisure activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to the young person, including assistance with daily living tasks
  • Assist with meal preparation and domestic care
  • Engage in social and leisure activities with the young person, promoting independence and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
