Postperson with Driving Responsibilities

Royal Mail Group is seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to join their team as a delivery postie. The role involves delivering mail and packages to customers in the Carterton area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver mail and packages to customers on a daily basis, working independently and using initiative and problem-solving skills
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Walk long distances in various weather conditions, ensuring timely deliveries to customers
Requirements:
- A full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points is required, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- The ideal candidate should be an upbeat, independent, and self-motivated individual who is organised, punctual, and ready to deliver great customer service
Benefits:
- A competitive monthly salary of £12,588 per year, equivalent to an hourly rate of £12.54 per hour, is offered, along with overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata), and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates are also included
