Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Douglas Willis. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining supplier accounts and ensuring timely processing of supplier invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure all invoices are properly authorized for payment.
- Prepare and perform bi-weekly payment runs.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any issues.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any purchase discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic bookkeeping and data entry skills for purchase ledger.
