About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Financial Estimator Specialist to join our team at Rise People. As a key member of our construction project team, you will play a crucial role in preparing estimates for multiple wood frame projects.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience estimating and possess exceptional written and oral communication skills. You will work closely with our construction managers to prepare budget estimates and research vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare estimates in multiple disciplines, including material takeoffs and reviewing proposed change orders.
  • Budget Planning: Assist construction managers with preparing budget estimates and researching vendors.
  • Drawings and Design Review: Organize and track sets of drawings, assist with design review options, and recommend best solutions.
  • Tendering Process: Support construction managers during the tendering process and assist with planning and executing new processes.

Requirements:

  • Work Experience: 1-3 years relevant work experience estimating.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for Construction: Passion for construction and project management.
  • Educational Qualifications: A technical Diploma or relevant University Degree an asset.
  • Research Skills: Recognized analytical and research skills.
