Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:
CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out fabric PPM and reactive maintenance across a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Undertake basic fabric duties, including touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, installing/repairing blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and assembling small equipment
  • Undertake some plumbing activities, including clearing blockages, attending to burst pipes, replacing components, and servicing systems
  • Liaise with the contract management team
  • Investigate complaints and take appropriate action
  • Ensure feedback is provided to the helpdesk on the progress of M&E jobs

Requirements:
  • Valid DBS check
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Understanding of most building fabric duties (plumbing, painting, carpentry, basic electrical, etc.)
  • Good communication skills
  • Health & Safety experience
  • Basic PC literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritize workload

Working Hours:
  • 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • 09:00am - 17:00pm
  • Immediate start
  • £19 - £20 per hour
  • Temp - 4 weeks cover
