Job Summary:
CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to building fabric maintenance, including painting, decorating, and basic lighting. You will work on a commercial portfolio in Victoria, London, and will be required to travel to various sites. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades and will be able to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Painting and decorating
  • Basic lighting
  • Fixing furniture
  • Hanging pictures and shelves
  • Maintaining and updating log books
  • Assisting the maintenance team on site
  • Escorting sub-contractors
  • Performing basic fabric duties, including touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, installing/repairing blinds, changing locks, and making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and equipment

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
  • An understanding of most building fabric duties
  • Good communication skills
  • Health and safety experience
  • Basic PC literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet use
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritize workload

Package and Working Hours:
  • Up to £35,000 per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 17:00 pm
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Travel paid across sites
  • Further training
  • Company pension
