About the Position

We are seeking an accomplished Academic Chef to join our team as a Lecturer in Patisserie. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the art of patisserie, as well as contributing to the development of our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and mentoring programs for students in the art of patisserie
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver academic programs
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum and ensure that it meets industry standards
  • Mentor and supervise students on work-based projects
  • Engage in scholarly activities such as research and publication

Requirements

  • PhD or Master's degree in Culinary Arts or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in teaching and mentoring students in culinary arts
  • Proven track record of publishing research papers and presenting at conferences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
