About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team at Trailmix Games. As a Senior QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality of our games, working closely with the development, product, design, art, and analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Feature Review and Testing: Review feature or content specifications, provide feedback, and create optimized feature test plans for assigned features from content, live ops, and feature teams.
  • Comprehensive Testing: Responsible for comprehensive testing of assigned features and content, working closely with other QA team members and the various studio teams.
  • Test Plan Review: Peer review test plans created by QA team members to ensure the test plans are thorough and leave no stone unturned.
  • Process Improvement: Provide suggestions and feedback for test process improvements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in quality assurance within the games industry at a development studio, with mobile F2P experience a definite plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A problem solver with a curious mindset and able to break down a feature to formulate test plans and test strategies.
  • Test Planning: Experience with creating test plans for features, both using functional and non-functional test techniques.
  • Test Management: Experience with bug workflows and test case management systems (ideally Jira and Testrail).
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and teamwork skills with a curious mindset, able to work collaboratively within a team to a high standard within required timelines.
  • Analytics and Automation: Exposure to in-game analytics and content management systems, as well as test automation and development environments such as Unity and Unreal.
