We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to join our team at Wythenshawe Hospital. As a key member of our Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Unit, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory medicine, with a particular interest in ILD. You will be expected to participate in research projects, contribute to the development of clinical guidelines, and provide education and training to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory conditions, including ILD
  • Participate in research projects, including clinical trials and observational studies
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Provide education and training to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

  • MRCP qualification
  • Within 6 months of receiving CCST in Thoracic Medicine
  • Post-graduate thesis
  • Publications in peer-reviewed journals
