Pipeline Specialist

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Specialist to join our team at Snaphunt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline engineering and design, with experience in developing and implementing pipeline systems for the transportation of oil, gas, and other fluids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop pipeline systems for the transportation of oil, gas, and other fluids.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new pipeline projects.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of pipeline systems.
- Monitor and maintain existing pipelines, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Perform inspections and integrity assessments, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, environmental engineers, and construction personnel.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and regulatory compliance submissions.
- Utilize advanced software and technology for pipeline design and analysis.
- Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipeline engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in pipeline design software (e.g., AutoCAD, CAESAR II, Pipeline Studio).
- Strong understanding of pipeline materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
