Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at Novus Precision Partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a proven track record of generating new business leads.

About the Role

This is a new role providing sales and marketing support to the Market Data Sales Team in building a pipeline of leads to meet business plans, quotas and company objectives. You'll be responsible for generating leads through phone calls, social media and emails. The role requires an individual to structure a defined approach to finding new potential clients. As part of this process the individual is required to work with the relevant sales member to properly qualify, arrange client meetings, create opportunities in order to close and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing and following up on leads and appointment setting for external sales team
  • Collaboratively work with the sales and Sales Management to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers
  • Initiates and participates in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and own follow-through with the lead prospect
  • Providing consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications
  • Effectively communicate and present our value proposition to customers
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Achieving sales lead gen and appointment quotas
  • Help support and execute sales campaigns within the territory as directed by management or New Business Development Managers.
  • Contribute to the collective knowledge of the sales team globally
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
  • Experience with cold calling
  • Experience with research and maintaining databases
  • Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Manage all stages of the new business sales process within Salesforce.com
  • Strong project and time management skills
Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of experience in Lead Generation (Advertising Sales, Sales, Market Research etc).

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, life insurance, and 25 days annual leave.
