Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special needs high school in north Manchester. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism, Complex Needs, Physical & cognitive disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with Autism, Complex Needs, Physical & cognitive disabilities in small groups and 1:1 settings.
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher and other SEN Teaching Assistants to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Managing emotions and behavior to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participating in ongoing training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain a new one).
  • Minimum of two professional references.
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
  • Experience supporting children with special needs.
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
