SEN Teaching Assistant Role in Stretford

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Nurture class at a secondary school in Stretford. The successful candidate will provide 2:1 support for pupils with PMLD, following an EHCP, and work closely with the class teacher to create a cohesive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 2:1 support for pupils with PMLD in a Nurture class
  • Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks as needed
  • Support pupils with behaviour management and emotional regulation
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEN pupils, particularly those with PMLD
  • Ability to work closely with the class teacher and other support staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
What We Offer:
  • A competitive daily rate of £84+ through weekly PAYE
  • A full-time role Monday-Friday
  • Paid weekly on a Timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel
  • The opportunity to work with a dedicated and experienced team
