About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team in Nailsea. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with complex needs, helping them progress through a care pathway to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and autonomy
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient conditions and progress
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong desire to create positive outcomes for individuals with learning disabilities
  • An empathetic and caring nature, with excellent communication skills
  • At least 6 months' experience working in a social care setting
  • A UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
