Salary: £5,163 per annum

Job Description

The Choral Scholar will be an integral part of our busy Music Department, singing alongside the Vicars Choral and choristers in the cathedral choir. Our repertoire ranges from music of the renaissance to contemporary works, both in English and Latin, and has made several acclaimed recordings, broadcasts, and tours.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend all choral rehearsals and services as per the schedule
  • Assist with some mentoring of the choristers on a rotational basis
  • PARTicipate in concert performances, choir tours, and the choral outreach programme

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a fine singing voice within the correct vocal ranges, very good sight reading skills, and a willingness to spend time preparing music for the services and concerts.
