About the Role

Evelyn Partners is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Analytics Director to lead the newly created Portfolio Analytics Team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and developing a small team of Portfolio Analysts, ensuring the team's tools, platforms, and processes are sufficient to deliver BAU production of portfolio analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Portfolio Analytics Team and manage a small team of Portfolio Analysts.
  • Ensure the team's tools, platforms, and processes are sufficient to deliver BAU production of portfolio analytics.
  • Generate portfolio analytics reports for central investment propositions from internal and external systems.
  • Provide interpretation and narrative on the key drivers of investment outcomes.
  • Work closely with Investment decision makers to explore and understand these key drivers.
  • Support portfolio construction as needed.
  • Support generation of client-facing materials as needed.
  • Ad hoc project work and analysis as needed.
  • Ensure process controls and quality assurance over the above.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance Related and/or quantitative subject.
  • CFA/CFRM/CIPM helpful but not required.
  • Experience of third-party portfolio analytics systems (MorningStar, Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.) would be helpful.
  • Experience of running and improving BAU processes for portfolio analytics would be helpful.
  • Knowledge of investments and investment strategies is important.
  • Experience of SQL, Python, Power BI, etc. would be helpful but is not essential.
  • Experience in an asset management, wealth management, or consulting role would be helpful.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good written and face-to-face communications skills.
  • People Management skills.
