Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team in Renfrewshire. As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will drive continuous improvement activities across the production line, managing a portfolio of improvement projects, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in lean manufacturing, project management, and technical systems while contributing to meaningful improvements within a well-established organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Driving continuous improvement across the production line
  • Managing and implementing improvement projects aligned with business needs
  • Developing solutions to improve operational efficiency and product quality

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experienced Engineer or an Engineering graduate with a HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma principles (Yellow Belt in Six Sigma is advantageous)
  • Knowledge of CAD, PLC control systems, and quality management systems such as Q-Pulse is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Proven technical expertise in a manufacturing environment
