Teaching Assistant - Learning Support

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school setting.

About the Role:

  • Support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management
  • Motivate, engage, and inspire young people to learn and participate
  • Support the teaching and learning of SEN pupils across the school
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to deliver high-quality education

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN in a school or similar environment (desirable but not essential)
  • 1:1 or small group working experience with vulnerable people (desirable but not essential)
  • Previous or current teaching assistants, support workers, care workers, sports coaches/more encouraged to apply
  • Graduates encouraged to apply
  • Passionate about education and making a positive difference in the education of vulnerable young people
